About Sudhanshu Sharma
Sudhanshu Sharma is an internationally respected Indian Classical Musician and Vocal Teacher, whose singing and facilitation invites participants on a journey into the heart and soul of music.
Born into a family of music lovers and enthusiasts who recognised his remarkable vocal talents, Sudhanshu Sharma took to music early in life.
Sudhanshu was initiated into music by Guru Shri Lakheshwar Choudhary from Assam. He received Gold Medal honours for his Post-Graduate degree in Music at the University of Delhi.
Later he moved to New Delhi for rigorous training under Pandit Baldev Raj Verma, the leading disciple of Pandit Amarnath, one of the torch-bearers of the Indore Style of singing popularised by the legendary Ustad Amir Khan Saheb.
His raga recitals are remarkably blissful and serene. His singing style reflects both the Indore Gharana tradition, and his own unique imaginative soulful expression.
Sudhanshu has shared his music around the globe and is a senior teacher for the acclaimed Heart of Sound Naada Yoga training courses in Rishikesh, India.
This will be Sudhanshu’s third visit to Australia to share his music and workshops.
